Who Will Win the Stanley Cup?: Southeast Division

LET'S SEE IF BBKL CAN PREDICT THE WINNER!

I am creating 6 polls (only a max of 10 teams can be entered for the poll).

Each poll will reflect an NHL division.

Pick the team you think is most likely to win the cup out of the division.

Once all 6 divisions have a winner through voting, we will have a final vote.

Staal & Ward know how to play when it matters -> if healthy they represent a serious pain in the ass come playoff-time.

yeah carolinas very underrated. can you imagine what wouldve happened if they didnt go on that run in the last 1/3rd of the season. staal and seguin down the middle...

They didn't add to their defense and they're relying on a young goalie but the Caps are still near the top of the list of cup contenders this year. The Hurricanes with a healthy Ward in net could make it back to the playoffs and the new look Lightning could make a push for the postseason as well. The Panthers and Thrashers are in a transitional period.

I wan't to vote for the Lightning, but they are still one top 4 defenceman and/or Hedman (breaking out) away from really contending.

I agree whole heartedly nick. Unfortunately they have to make the playoffs before staal can take over.
