David Backes Value Decreases...

According to the Blues, forward David Backes will be moved back to the wing this season, thus meaning he will not take regulaur draws this season.

St. Louis head coach Davis Payne said he will move Backes back to right wing after a season and a half as a center, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Payne believes the two-way responsibilities of a center impacted Backes' offense last season. Getting him back on the wing will allow Backes to focus more on offense and use his size to work the boards and corners. "We feel that this will give him some added energy that gets expended in his own zone (if he's playing center)," Payne said. "We also want to make sure that we put him in a position so that teams have to deal with him on the forecheck." Backes, who averaged the second-most ice time among Blues forwards last season (18:18), was fifth in the league with 240 hits.

I've consistently considered this a real issue -> it directly impacts our scoring... We need to be accurate with our positions if we're going to impose restrictions, if not lets just run 12 forwards!

I've said this a dozen times, admins have to ability to modify eligibility on CBS. If CBS doesn't alter stuff themselves by the start of the season we will make amendments, upon request, and with proper documentation.

Are you serious? This isn't very fucking difficult. If you come to me with some random bleacher report article I will turn you down. If you come to me with game sheets showing a player hasn't taken a draw in two weeks that is acceptable.
