Active GM: Steve

NHL Comparable: Peter Chiarelli

Reasoning: Can't manage stars but still manages to win. Chia has traded away Joe Thornton, Phil Kessel and Tyler Seguin who are all now top 15 scorers, Boston now has 0 in the top 15. Steve has owned and traded away Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and Taylor Hall all top 15 scorers, Steve now has 0 of the top 15 scorers. Both Gm's use team depth over star power to get things done.
mmmh, i don't think it was Chiarelli to trade away BigJoe?
out of everything you had to pick that out haha. I think it is an awesome comparison but you had to pick out the flaw. My bad though, Joe Thornton was traded in 06 but chia wasn't hired until may of 06, a few months after the trade. My comparison still stands though.

Active GM: Mik

NHL Comparable: Bryan Murray

Reasoning: Because cause every time he talks, it annoys the living shit out of you

and I'll admit it Arian, that was me haha.

Haha it's all good man I actually agree with that opinion. I think it's because I made a lot of bad deals when bbkl first started and I'm too cautious not to make the same mistakes.

Active GM: Nick

Comparable GM: Jim Rutherford

Reasons: Builds a strong core of star players, makes big trades when need be. Spends a lot of cap on star players, but patient with team.

Me and rutherford have one key difference - he has a championship.

Although like him I'm working at acquiring the Staal brothers!

It's def not a bad offer.

However the cap is impossible for me to fit. Combined they also score less than Sid does.

Active GM: Shook

NHL Comparable: Jim Nill

Reasoning: Can give you a scouting report on almost any player in the league, and is easy to shoot the shit with.
