Malkin is top 7 in the world mean while I could Allways draft Lecavalier with my 40 something pick + 100 something pick for Oshie. I just find you can't replace Malkin by a future stud and a Over paid player. he add Kunitz that should get 50+ pts.

I know where your coming from but I have more confident in Malkin then either Oshie and a 1st overall in a week draft.
Oshie could and might become a 70 pts player and Lecavalier will get overpay for getting nothing but 70pts. It might be a equal of pts going each side but I still rather keep the elite Star then a old stud and a future stud. Still not as bad as I maded sound but I still feel that he made a mistake by doing this deal. If you want to win later you done allright but if it's for now then you fail your mission. LOL....

so I just got back from work and im looking at this and im slowly starting to like my side of the deal more. it might just be delirium however.

I tried to find an imbalance here but it really is quite even. Malkin prob wont be taking faceoffs anymore so that is one problem for ATL lost some FOW there... But he is still an offensive beast. Hopefully LeCav has worked through his bum shoulder. I'm not sure if he will ever be the same. If he can though this will be his year with St. Louis and Gagne...oohhh baby...I still hate Shiv thoguh because his team is ridiculous. People that say he isnt the clear cut favorite to win need to look at the numbers. He may not have all big name stars, but for our league almost every player on his roster is a stat stud. Guy knows what hes doing.

Atlanta laughs all the way to the bank IMO. Malkin is the 3rd best player in the world. I don't care what anybody says about last season, he's 1 year removed from an Art Ross and Conn Smythe Trophy. That shit doesn't just disappear in one season. Malkin was still 8th in points per game this season and over 82 games would have finished with 94pts.

I don't care what intangibles Oshie or Vinny brings. Kunitz brings tons of hits and whatever else Malkin doesn't bring. FOW is the only real thing Luke gets pwned in. But for Geno, I'd take that rape. If Vinny doesn't get back to 80+ points, it's more lopsided.

Because this is going to a more offence oriented league, I feel Luke rapes this trade and will reap the benefits for the next 10 years. It's easier to find an Oshie, than a Malkin.
