Oh, and Clarkson is the biggest fucking phony I've ever seen. He tries so hard to be that guy who defends his teammates that he goes out of his way to do so and forgets there's a hockey game going on ... 24/7 convinced me of this. Unlike komisarek, Connolly and Armstrong he seems to at least have some hockey skills.

I think the issue with Clarkson is his line placement. In NJ he was playing big Mins a long side Elias. He's been buried on the 3rd line most of the year with no PP or PK time.

If we lose Kulemin in the offseason i think you'll see clarkson on the 2nd line with Kadri and Lupul...however with Kuelmins strong play as of late you wont see that happen this season.

his final few games with kadri and lupul he looked good. He was finally gaining some chemistry with them.

Either way, i think he's proven that he's a good player with skill, but he's not a dominant player. He's a player who needs good linemates to produce. Which isn't always as bad as it sounds. He just needs to be used correctly.

It's not the same thing... I think you know that. I don't believe anyone would say Sid's effort was great, definitely not 110% that he's famous for, but until his teammate (malkin) got absolutely burned fishing for the puck, Both sid and geno were in a good spot. Compare that to Ovy floating back into an isolated 3 on 2.

I get why Shep posted it, all great players are eventually on the ice for goals against, and get burned or make a lazy play.

Haha I was about to say the same thing. To be fair though, the "Controller Disconnected" joke isn't as funny the second time so I don't think it's just the bias.

I definitely think they're both identical scenarios and don't agree with Nick's biased assessment at all lol. Crosby is viewed more positively by most people like Nick.

Crosby is elite
