2014 Sochi Olympics

Post by CAM »

Thought a good idea to have one all encompassing thread dedicated to Olympics.

Does anyone know of reliable websites that will be streaming coverage? I like watching all events, not just hockey and would love a good source.

The NBC Sports site pretty much streamed during the Summer Olympics...they might've blocked out the events they were going to show in prime time. I don't know if they've got rules for 'feriners' who'd like to stream. Since all the hockey is on in the morning, I assume that will be streamable.

Wow, team Canada's women's goalie played a full season in junior on Matt Frattin's team, winning the league's goalie of the year award.

AJHL's top goalie though, damn that's impressive. I'm sure it didn't hurt that the league's best player was on her team.

McMorris was supposed to be a serious medal contender in the snowboard -- has to take the long route through the semi's now though.

i can't lie - there are a few U.S. olympic figure skaters that train at my rink (Ashley Wagner this year and Evan Lysacek who won Gold in 2010) and getting to watch them every day is cool as shit. i'll be actually watching the figure skating events this year.
