Ya, Bryan showed me the spread that you use, it's definitely something that will probably take me a few days to adjust my evaluations. I don't see it as an issue, I'd rather have a comprehensive evaluation of players than limit it to G/A/PIM/S/W/GAA or something like that. I really like the peripheral categories used.Nick wroteCOLONHave you looked into our categories ? We use 16 of them, makes for rather different player evaluations than the typical hockey fan is accustomed to.

I hate you already....well that and the fact that you're a Leafs fan.brockbirds wroteCOLONI went to Brock U, and my first serious fantasy leagues were in baseball. So I've just kept the handle moving forward.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONWhat's a Brockbird?

Is there a story there? Brock is like everybody's younger cousin, they're always asking for more to do, always telling everyone how much they've learned in the past few years, and always telling people how they're striving to be leaders in the future.Chuck Norris wroteCOLONI hate you already....well that and the fact that you're a Leafs fan.brockbirds wroteCOLONI went to Brock U, and my first serious fantasy leagues were in baseball. But in the meantime they keep getting blown away on the sports fields, and kept at arms length (for now) in the world of academia...
Unless you played baseball, we Badgers can always take pride in our baseball teams.

Re: Welcome Brockbirds (Jim)
I was a Gryphon and we had one hell of a rivalry with the Badgers on the soccer field. My hate is more personal though because I lost out on OUA rookie of the year to a Badger. Some fuck who scores 1 goal in 12 games while I had shutouts (I was a keeper obviously) in 5 of 12 games and he won the award. Ever since then I've hated everything Brock lol. Funny this is my gf went to Brock for nursing...oh well can't win them all lol.
Re: Welcome Brockbirds (Jim)
Brock was strong in rugby a few years too.

That's true. Now that I think about it, the lacrosse team was really good for a few years, the the basketball team did have that one championship year. Better than I tend to remember, I guess.thom54 wroteCOLONBrock was strong in rugby a few years too.

Re: Welcome Brockbirds (Jim)
Hello Jim,
It is a pleasure to meet you. I look forward to getting to know you in the near future.
A little about myself: My name is Anton and I am 26 years old. Originally from Hamilton, ON I moved to Australia and pursued a career in teaching. After 2 years abroad along with some amazing travel experiences I have since relocated to the LA area where I am finishing an MBA with a focus in Sport Management. Currently I am working as a manager/hockey director at a local rink as well as interning with the Kings. I try to keep very busy but enjoy BBKLing as much as the next GM around here. I pride myself on building a young team stacked with high caliber young players and elite future prospects. You may notice my tendency to post GIFs from time to time in an attempt to lighten the mood around these parts as it can sometimes become very serious and cutthroat. I have a BBKL title under my belt from 2011 which I am very proud of. A few of my hobbies outside of hockey include playing guitar, hitting the gym, and heading down to the beach for a nice sun ta.....burn. My favorite book is Shantaram and my favorite tv show is Community. Recently I began watching True Detective with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrleson - I am enjoying it very much. If I had to pick a favorite late night talk show host it would be Craig Fergson - a couple years ago I would have said Conan O'Brien but I feel his move to TBS has diminished the appeal of his show a little bit. My favorite color is blue and I really like raspberry flavored things.
If you would like to chat further, I am always available via PM.
Sincerely,
Anton
