Hey, any week I think the winner between a bunch of contenders is up in the air. But at some point you have to be able to acknowledge when the week is likely over, and give a nod to your opponent. Steve's team outplayed mine, by a HUGE margin so far this week, and I'd be expecting them to drop off the map, and my guys to light on fire, to make a win this week possible.

I would also have to cheer against the leafs (not happening), and not be happy when Kadri scores (also not happening - hell I've almost got my dog trained to howl when the leafs score).

i actually appreciate you saying that, i've talked to a few guys over the year (when i play them) and they cheer against kadri or any leaf i may have active.

My hockey world goes:

BBKL second.

heck, when i played Anton i was cheering for his goalies because they were playing DET, and DET is trying to catch Toronto. I cheer for whatever benefits the leafs, even if i'm playing against someone with those players.

The BBKL Trade Deadline has been set for Monday, February 3rd @ roster lock. This is 6 weeks before BBKL playoffs start (3 of those weeks being Olympic Break with no games played).

Im also somewhat glad that people this morning arent chanting leafs to the stanley cup finals, after the 6-3 win against a sad little injured FLA team (no barkov guby++) that has clemmensen in net, or that 3A from Kadri against a joke of a FLA defense somehow warrants talks of kadri for team canada or art ross. Looks like we are a bunch of level headed and reasonable fans. Good to see.
