Semin also seems to disappear when the going gets tough. Making him a great 2nd line player and top 6 winger, but not someone you want to rely on offense from consistently to win.

24 pts in 28 playoff games (he was over a point per game before this year and Jaroslav "God" Halak stepped in his way).

I don't disagree that he disappears, because that's a fact. He'll go 5 games with 1 point, then explode with 12 points in the next 5 games.

Sorry Neel, but that doesn't look like a 2nd liner to me. I wouldn't necessarily build my team around him, but he'd be the most offensive player on 20+ teams in the NHL.

However, Semin has been known to be VERY clutch. I personally feel this playoffs was off for him. 14pts in 14 games the year before, and 8pts in 7 games the year before that.

Halak simply shut him down, as he did with many other Capitals.
