Thanks for proving my point...Half the guys on that list aren't fighters, or legitimate heavy weighs, but they are guys who will stick up for a team mate...Mike Brown, Craig Rivet, Maxim Lapierre, Nik Boynton, David Clarkson (much smaller, lol), Tim Wallace (smaller and a rookie), Jay Harrison, Mike Komisarek (are you honestly going to tell me Komi is a heavyweight) and Phil Oreskovic (rookie defenceman).

Lucic is a little bitch who goes around taunting guys who are smaller and weaker than him, but when someone of equal ability and size stands toe to toe with him he backs down.

There is maybe one or two legit heavy weights on that list, and thats it.

If someone is talking shit, they deserve it, but that has not been the case in all of Lucic fights, nor has a broken fist been the reason Lucic has turned down every fight against a bigger opponent.

however Kyle, boston bruin's fans can been seen all over hf boards saying he'd take orr... i loved when the fight happened just to settle the debate.

He is in the same weight & size class as Orr, however Colton fights above his category... IMO he's the Rypien of the big men... if your their size and decide to go toe to toe with them your in trouble.


With that said, Lucic's role extends that beyond a tough guy, and being physical and intimidating weaker/smaller guys is part of his game, and he does it well. I also need to agree with Kareem that he's backed down from a few fights he should have taken, however he is young, and over time he'll find that right balance, i think he's one of the best true power forwards in the league, and would want him on my team.

I love Lucic, even during his junior days (although I didn't get to watch a lot of WHL) but he's known to dodge tough guys a lot like Matthew Barnaby would. Lucic just isn't as much of a pest as Barnaby so he it doesn't get noticed as much and Barnaby's mouth eventually caught up to him and he'd have to drop them with the big boys!!

PS - I loved Barnaby too.. gotta love a pest lol
