On a related note, I still think we should go a more traditional scoring route.

6pts all TD's (offensive, defensive and ST), -2 interception, 2pts for a sack, 3pts for a FG with a 50+ yard bonus, etc...

Offensive Players

4 (or 6) points - passing touchdown
6 points - rushing/receiving touchdown
0.05 points - passing yard
0.1 points - rushing/receiving yard
1.0 points - reception


Place Kickers

3 points - field goal from 0 to 29 yards
4 points - field goal from 30 to 39 yards
5 points - field goal from 40 to 49 yards
6 points - field goal from 50+ yards


Defensive Players

10 points - safety
6 points - interception return for touchdown
6 points - fumble returned for touchdown
6 points - missed field goal returned for a touchdown
6 points - blocked field goal returned for a touchdown
6 points - blocked punt returned for a touchdown
6 points - blocked punt, field goal or extra point
6 points - interception caught
4 points - forced fumble
4 points - sack a quarterback
3 points - tackle for a loss
2 points - fumble recovery
2 points - turnover forced
2 points - pass defensed
2 points - defensive tackle
1 point - assisted tackle
