Am I the only one that thinks Kunitz should be put on Crosby's line on this team? Kunitz - Crosby - X would make a terrific line. We love making super teams but chemistry should play a big role here considering they'll be playing together all year.

I did not like bergeron last olympics, but admit he was beastly during these past 2 playoffs. Like him at camp, hope they are evaluating lots of options.

It is entirely possible for both Eric Staal and Joffrey Lupul to be on the team, I'm not sure what you are getting at here. In terms of results the past two seasons, which should be the most significant determining factor in making up this team, Joffrey Lupul is absolutely one of Canada's top 25 forwards, and worthy of an invite.

I like the Lucic one but I just don't see him making it on the big ice.

Lucic was one of the most controversial picks I made, but of course you get that one and not Lupul or Phaneuf who have been objectively elite at their positions for multiple seasons now.

No I get that because Lucic is a very unique player. He is the epitome of his type of player, neither Dion nor Joffrey can say the same thing. There are better options for both Lupul and Phaneuf given their skill sets and what they bring to the table. assuming team Canada wants a player like Lucic, there is no better alternative. That is why I understand that pick lol.

Not everything I say is based of an anti leaf sentiment ya know.

Lupul is more than likely not going to make the cut, but on numbers alone he deserves to be there as much as anyone. He has been a catalyst for the Leafs, and produced more than a ppg in the past two years, only: Stamkos, Giroux, and MSL can say the same.

Kareem you are right about MSL. I totally forgot him on there, he just won an Art Ross, I think he is as much of a lock as anyone.

I also agree with Rick Nash Kareem. Deserves an invite not doubt, probably makes the team yes, but I wouldn't be upset if he were left off the team either.

Phaneuf is the best open ice hitter in the NHL, and who needs unique abilities when you have more ppg over the past two seasons than any winger not named MSL?

A guy I think got robbed of an invite is Dan Girardi of the NYR. Guy has been nothing short of amazing back there. I think he is right around Hamhuis and Phaneuf as the 8-9-10 guys on the list, but he deserves to be in the discussion imo.
