we got incredible value and are largely considered winners of the deal, but the ducks got a great piece they are happy with.

I've always been a big supporter of the Kessel deal. Just looks worse in retrospect. Also - you know the Toronto media (e.g. Steve Simmons, Damien Cox) will blow it out of proportion.

not surprising. Perry amongst others ripped him when he was let go from ana. He is a coach that gets the most out of his players with his strict style, that always leads to hatred towards them. torts, keenan etc. Especially if it is a player in that coaches doghouse. Grabo should have waited a day or two to make comments though lol, dumb by his agent letting him talk lol.

Good for Grabo, Carlyle absolutely did a shit job with him. It seemed that Carlyle demoted him right off the get go, and never gave him a real shot for whatever reason.

I agree, with coaches like Carlyle there are going to be players who love him and others who hate him. Though in the case of Grabovski, the hatred is warranted, he did an awful job of maximizing Grabovski's production, there is no question about it.
