Cheapest trading block ever -> Lightning

Post by Nick »

Put in offer in on any of these guys, asking is reasonable->very low.

Matt Kassian -> Fighter signed with the Wild. -> went for a 4th 2011.
David Fischer -> Former 1st rounder with good skills, rough NCAA team and #'s to match that.
Geoff Kinrade -> Signed with the sens after an epic first AHL season (+27, 27pt rookie dman)
John Mitchell -> NOT MALKIN, this is big NCAA scoring guy, rough final season, has the tools to be a solid player
Marc Andre Dorion -> Slick skating CIS defender, invited to leafs rookie camp
Jace Coyle -> WHL offensive dman signed by the Stars, excellent rookie camp
Shawn Lalonde -> OHL offensive dman, rumoured to have a solid shot at the Hawks
Christian Hanson -> Solid h2h #'s and fun to have, projecting 3rd line between Sjostrom & Armstrong; if your going to tell me he's peaked don't bother.
Andrew Desjardins -> depth centre for the sharks, rough and tough 2-way guy

I'm alway game to listen to offers, but please don't treat any of Chris Kreider, Viktor Tikhonov, John McFarland, Casey Wellman, James Wright, AJ Jenks, Nick Bjugstad, Sami Vatanen, Colby Cohen, Alex Petrovic, Logan Pyett or Nate Prosser as throw ins or small upgrade pieces.

Not really looking to move any of my roster forwards, or any of my roster dmen, Matt Niskanen is the most likely, however I believe he slumped last year and is notably better then the #'s suggest. That is not to say that don't bother offering, but it has to make sense from my side as well.

Vatanen has recently signed a 2 year extension with his SEL team.

Not to mention, he was drafted 2nd overall in the KHL draft.

I doubt you ever see him in the NHL!

Yup I guess your right... cause getting drafted in the KHL means a lot, guess he'll never come over...I also forgot that the SEL doesn't have contract buy-outs, and never releases players to come over :P

He signed his new contract right before the World Championship, not new news & the KHL draft was way back in June or something... guys like Larsson, Donskoi, Petrov, Nestrasil, Gudas, Rundblad, O. Roy, Niederreiter, Johansson, Lander, D'Amigo, Toffoli, J.Campbell, Tinordi & Marincin were all selected as well.... I'd wager we see most of them :)

Bump & update.

Kassian traded for a early-mid 4th.

I have received several offers on Hanson, however people really are trying dirt cheap on him... he's not free... and I'm not about to make a trade that doesn't make sense (ex. for a non-waiver exempt fringe NHLer or pair of shitty AHLers).

ps-> James Wright was not on the cheap-list/block, an offer for him would have to really make sense, telling me he's a late pick doesn't lower his price.

pPS-> Randy from Trailer Park Boys is in Boondock Saints 2.
