Are you kidding me? The Flames will be lucky to get a second or third round pick for Kiprusoff. A bad contract coupled with terrible statistics, and a poor goalie market do not lend themselves to a favorable return.

I actually do not get this move from a Toronto standpoint as Kipper has openly stated that he is strongly considering retirement. they might trade for a goalie then need one again next year. To me it's almost better to do nothing as I don't think it is win now time in Toronto.

It adds experience to the Leafs crease at a presumably low cost, what is not to get? The Leafs are not in the market for an upgrade in goal, as has been said all along, the Leafs just want to add experience.
