i actually think thats a solid deal.
Nice return on Jokinen. I was a bit worried when i saw Det - NJ deal.

The 1.175 in cap space really makes this deal appealing. It almost guarantees I can keep my current team (Staal & Hanzal) and have Mason on my bench, start Varly and sub in Mason when needed!sgupca wroteCOLONi actually think thats a solid deal.

The Caps added some toughness to their lineup this afternoon, acquiring rugged right wing D.J. King from St. Louis in exchange for a prospect Stefan Della Rovere.

That's kinda funny...I would've made the deal anyway. Hudler was the main piece. My hope is that he puts up around the same numbers as Jokinen. I wanted a guy that helps me now. That's kind of why I went the direction I did with Murray and this deal...getting guys that help the team now instead of deals that help me in a couple years.
