lol, i even thought about that, but Erskine was day2day and i was like "meh, if he was going to be out for a while they would have called up Schilling or Orlov already", as Hersher didn't have any game Monday or today..

Tuesday recalls suck...but they can quickly be followed by a Wednesday demotion. I think called him up because Poti's banged up also.
It's a gamble with lineups...at least if you aren't relying on 6th/7th defenseman and 4th liners. I'm lucky that Ebbett got called up before I flirted with the idea of waiving him but on the flip side, Tallinder officially goes on IR today rather than Monday so he's a dead lineup spot.
