Man, small sample size, but Dougie Hamilton looks really, really good in the 1st period tonight.

He'll be awesome. Much better paired with Seidenberg though, imo. Chara and Boychuk just know eachother and compliment eachother. Hamilton will excel on the second pair and second PP with Seidenberg.

So how about that Conacher guy, two helpers half way through the third period just after being put on the top line

Lol at this NYI breakdown in the third period. Looking like TBL are going to pull of the 4 goal turnaround.

It's okay, the Lightning are only capable of playing 15 minutes of good hockey every night. Held on thanks to an untimely penalty

Good news for Pete...Red Wings sign Kent Huskins due to all the injuries on defense (Ericsson, Colo, Kindl)

"Luongo deal in place"

- Gillis

I'd guess hawks or Wings

Hawks would make sense, but i guess if possible Vancouver would rather unload him to some other team

If the hawks get him, then my cup favourite goes to them no questions asked.

I have a VERY hard time believing Gillis would trade Luongo to CHI. That's career suicide.

Well it does depend on who they get from CHI. Saad + seems realistic. If Chicago give up too much then maybe they won't win, who knows

that is a misquote. He says the player is the mystery, not the team. I could see both the Redwings and Hawks as their goaltending sucks but all the speculation on all the radio I have heard today is the leafs. Sounds like the only question is what is coming our way.

well he doesn't say the team is not a mystery, he just doesn't mention anything about a team. He only talks about players and has said that the players returning are not what everyone thinks.

Regardless of what they get, VAN and CHI meet in the playoffs entirely too often for Gillis to even consider handing them an elite starting goalie. That's ridiculous.

+1

it is the leafs. you guys should be excited. Look what Carlysle did for Hiller, imagine what Lou will do with his systems. Lou would mean a playoff berth for you guys regardless of what is coming our way.

by the way, I love how all the armchair GM's on tsn are saying that he is lying and that no team is interested. People...

I took my quote from TSN.

Sportsnet has a much better quote - more straight forward
