Kyle, looks like you'll be cheering against your favourite team's best players for the first nine days of the season.

Some frogs legs being served up in Philadelphia this week..
Re: [GWT] - Week 1
yeah, like other years where your players would just take fire and double their offensive production against my team?Shep wroteCOLONMik is going to wipe the floor with me. Damnit.

Yea catch 22. Gotta be honest though, id rather the Bruins come out flying (with my Bruins getting the majority of the points, lol) Go Boychuk, Krejci, Bourque, Spooner..lolMike wroteCOLONKyle, looks like you'll be cheering against your favourite team's best players for the first nine days of the season.

If you're counting on providence points counting it's gonna be a tough week for ya.mr. bruin wroteCOLONYea catch 22. Re: [GWT] - Week 1
One of those two will be a full time roster player on third line LW. Putting money on Bourque as he has so far been practicing on PP2 as well.
Re: [GWT] - Week 1
modest start to the season... at this point with the improvements I made, I'm hoping to win against FLA. good luck Chris! may the best team win

Seguin is QBing the 1st PP with Lucic, Horton, Chara and KrejciMike wroteCOLONIf you're counting on providence points counting it's gonna be a tough week for ya.mr. bruin wroteCOLONYea catch 22. 2nd PP unit is Marchand-Bergeron-Bourque with Seids and Dougie on the point.
Bourque already has grey practice jersey and has been on third line since camp started with Peverley and Kelly. Everyone else, like Spooner and Pandolfo, are in the green Providence jersey.
Bruins will be streaming the scrimmage tonight free on Bruins NHL channel. http://bruins.nhl.com/index.html the Garden is sold out for this practice game tonight...lol
Those moves are good and bad for me. Boychuk gets bumped off PP but Krejci moves up and Bourque also.

Heres some AHL news for you...Mike wroteCOLONIf you're counting on providence points counting it's gonna be a tough week for ya.mr. bruin wroteCOLONYea catch 22. Chris Bourque notched a goal and two assists in Tuesday's scrimmage, a 7-5 loss to AHL Providence, the Boston Herald reports.
(Updated 01/16/2013).
Fantasy Analysis
Though it was only a scrimmage, the solid effort was probably enough to solidify Chris Bourque's spot on the Bruins' third line to start the season, along with Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley. It's a position that Bourque could hold on to with a strong start to the season, even when Jordan Caron is healthy enough to play. There's also a chance that Bourque could see work with the Bruins' No. 2 power play unit out of the gate, which gives him some utility in deeper formats.
