Yea, i would be concerned with Fosters role. Who do you have to plug in his absence if need be? I clinched with number one seed so far with one more week to go. Only top 4 get in out of 12 teams. Some pretty good teams up top also. Im hoping Demarco can do what he was supposed to all year. I still dont know what to do with my DEF. I have GB and just grabbed NE. GB has been brutal with no woodson or Mathews. Was considering grabbing St. Louis DEF as well. That is my toughest decision going forward. Also to start Leshoure or Alexander...??

I have nobody to plug in.. McGahee went down for me, and Hillman didn't fill the role.

That "Montell Owens" random JAX RB now with all those injuries. Mike Goodson, Justin Forsett

Well..

I've got a 13.3 lead heading into tonight.

I have A. Foster, he has A. Johnson and S. Vereen

Foster has out-pointed Andre Johnson in all but 2 games this year. 1st game of the season and AJ's 250+ yard receiving game. I don't want to say I'm confident because they've really been limiting Foster (though it's a must win in terms of Round 1 byes). Foster averages 18.91 pts per game and AJ averages 13.87 pts per game.

I hope Foster shows up and plays like the 1st overall pick and then I'll be confident. I figure if he just keeps pace with AJ my 13.3 point lead should be enough to stave off Vereen, given the crowded backfield and the stingy run defense of the Texans.

Hehe...interesting. I have AJ and am down 14 points. I will be cheering against you tonight...lol. I am really curious to see how they handle Foster with this game though. Both teams need to be careful but BB doesn't ever do such a thing (Gronk injury). Vereen could be a wild card. He has been getting some kickoffs and punt returns has he not?

Kickoffs/Punts are of no relevance to my league. So I don't care about that.

With Ridley and Woodhead back there, I can't see him having a big enough game to make me nervous. I just want Foster/AJ to give me a wash and my 13.3pts should be enough to hold off Vereen.

I think they need Foster all out this game. If the Texans lose, they could be in danger of losing a first round bye with Patriots and Broncos being only 1 game back. So I think Foster should see 20+ carries.

Awesome...me to...by .5 of a point, lol.

Can you tell me where i can verify if Hernandez had a fumble recovery? It seems the stats are updated early this week in yahoo but he does not have that. I cannot find it anywhere. This 1 point makes a huge difference in our playoff brackets and who gets in or out. One match was decided by .3 points. I know he had a recovery...

hmm, you are giving up on St. Louis D? I have that same dilemma. Detroit scares me so much but against a Cardinals team that has all but quit...Gould was placed on IR was he not? I wonder how they will handle Arian this upcoming week. Tate was getting some carries but Arian still got the points.

Who do you have on your bench?

Heres what I am rolling. My big decision comes down to fitting in Denario Alexander and who not to play. Also the Defense issue.

QB Drew Brees @ TB
WR Andre Johnson @ IND
WR Julio Jones @ NYG
RB Knowshon Moreno @ BAL
RB DeMarco Murray @ PIT
TE Brandon Myers @ KC
FLEX Steven Jackson @ MIN
K Justin Tucker @ DEN
DST GB or STL or DET????

Opponent (depends on stat correction of Hernandez fumble recovery)

Without correction opponent:

Matt Ryan
Roddy White
Anquan Boldin
Arian Foster
Vick Ballard
Jermaine Gresham
Jeremy Maclin
Matt Prater
PIT DST

Opponent with correction:

Aaron Rodgers
T.Y. Hilton
Cecil Shorts
C.J. Spiller
Bryce Brown
Aaron Hernandez
Montell Owens
Vinateri
CHI DST

The second team is scary....

Shep, I need your help. I cannot find a clear explanation for this situation.

If there is a fumble by an offensive player and the fumble is recovered by his teammate (Ridley fumble with recovery by Hernandez) are recovery points awarded in Yahoo? In our league we have a value of 2 for Fumble Recovery. Do this only apply to Defense players or special teams?

I'm not necessarily giving up on STL D. I'm moreso picking up DET D as another option because the Cardinals are terrible.

Gould was placed on IR so I'm sure he'll pick up a K. Our waivers run tonight.

Arian will get carries. The Texans have to beat the Colts to clinch the division (either week 15 or week 17) and are still at risk to not get a 1st round bye with the Pats and Broncos only 1 game behind.

From anything I've EVER had in regards to FR, it'd only be for DST unless specifically stated for an Offensive Fumble Recovery.

My bench is: Denarius Moore, TY Hilton, Montell Owens, A. Luck (starting Big Ben this week), Chargers DST and maybe Lions DST. Then other junk I have 0 intentions of starting.

I'll be honest, I have more confidence in Alexander than Julio. Not to say that I'd bench Julio, but that Alexander is that good. He just played the #1 pass defense and shredded them for 88 yards and 2 TD's.

Alexander over Jackson is an easy decision IMO. I've started him 5 straight weeks and never been disappointed. He's a stud and is a Top 5 WR in points per game (in PPR, not sure about standard).

According to that, Suisham has the best match-up.
