How does the Free Agency and Trades treat you so far.....
Positives
Suter to Wild -> Gilbert has a PP partner!
Michalik out of Pens (and potential Martin too) -> Room for Bortuzzo and Despres!
Parise out of NJ -> Clarkson even more offensive role
Oates to WSH -> Ovie back to old form!
Foligno out Latendress in -> Turris stable at 2C position with good wingers to play with
Negatives
Jordan to Canes -> Eric potentially -FOW, -SHTOI, +hits, +points.. but fuck this

If your players were better, they'd get bigger raisesKezia wroteCOLONWaiting for someone to actually get a raise

If your players were worse, maybe you wouldn't have to give handjobs for nickles to pay them.

Re: How does the Free Agency and Trades treat you so far....
A lot of teams beat me last year. You should be proud.
Re: How does the Free Agency and Trades treat you so far....
Steves team always fell short but a strong contender year after year
Re: How does the Free Agency and Trades treat you so far....
all of my main roster, except that crap-bag Pahlsson, signed ... that's good enough for me
Re: How does the Free Agency and Trades treat you so far....
Most of u guys misunderstood hongs point of this thread. He means how did the real life FA signing this yr affect ur team in positive/negative ways in terms of roster balance/potential production for the upcoming season
Re: How does the Free Agency and Trades treat you so far....
Moss: almost exactly what I had expected. Was looking for 2mil, he got 2.1.
Konopka: same thing, but happy he got two years. Seems as good a place as any to slot into 4th line C/2nd PK unit.
Jagr: more money than I was hoping for. Probably need to move him because of it.
Teemu: still waiting.
Garrison: Very happy, was expecting 5.5. Vancouver was my second preference for his destination after sticking in Florida where he is a known commodity next to Campbell
Kuba: Expensive at 4, but not far off where I was expecting him. Nice to see him next to an excellent passing d-man again.
Zanon: Fine with 2.25. Meh, as long as he's in the top 6 he puts up wild periphs.
Salo: got toooo fat a contract and had to move him.

JVR to the leafs = super happy for the leafs and my bbkl team
Petry signed to 1.750 - this awesome contract makes up for the stupid one they handed the Dub.
I'm only waiting on Ryan O'Reilly to sign, i'm thinking he'll get in the 3.5mil range.

Radulov - KHL
Parise - Indifferent. 7.5mil is fine, hopefully good chemistry with Koivu
Semin - Nothing so far, likely signing somewhere as a beast.
Sullivan - going to Phoenix, good and bad. Likely a better role, less skill to play with though.
Lots of RFA/UFA still.
