im less pissed about the actual value and more pissed about how it makes you stronger and me weaker this season

I dunno about fair, Schenn <-> Richards is fair, I'd actually rather Schenn just due to his cap value. But Alfie could be epic in Det, and that's worth more than Tinordi.

i was 6 mill + over the cap. severely handicapped in negotiations. i feel like i maximized the value as much as i could, but its a clear loss for me in the short term.

ironically enough, taking loses in deals (see oshie trade) doesn't always hurt when you can take cap in another deal.

I think you did fine Anton. Alfy sucks at 5.5 and 1 year left. M rich is better than schenn but sometimes you have to take the hit.

Tinrodi for a year of Alfie is worth it to me for the simple fact i'm going all in this year.
