Reasonable price for a backup - not holding for 3 years with an unrealistic price Because he's waiver exempt and potentially screwing another GM over - in a very unrealistic situation.

My guess is you like Pysyk better than Lack.

this a jab at me? Phion wouldn't make Radko Gudas available for Bernier. On the other hand I offered a 1st for "my" backup, Scrivens, who's being unreasonable?

I would hold it hostage, absolutely. Pay me 3x as much if you want your tandem. Screwing over GM's should be the goal of everybody in this league. Create hostility, pain and suffering between everybody.

Jab at no one person - just the logic I see and hear thrown out occasionally about prospect/backup goalies. Bernier/Schnedier are two exceptions where there had to be VERY good value traded to acquire.

In the NHL holding a backup does not exist - there is an excess of the 31st - 80th skill level goalies - but here if a starter goes down, suddenly a backup is required and you better hope to have the matched backup, or else your GP suffer.
