Don't see the rape you are referring to. I see fair value in futures being paid with a ROY candidate NHLer. Lucic at 6M will slowly reach a point where most GMs don't want to touch that contract.

Lucic at 6M will reach a point that its good value after this next season of tightness.

Surviving the pinch this year is key.

Lucic at 6mil in the nhl is different than lucic at 6mil in the bbkl.

I essentially replaced lucic's bbkl stats with chris neil.

I was certainly offered bigger names, but as shiv suggests its too hard to pass up a guy who barely lost the calder. After reading about the habs it seems as if they are gonna let ryder walk and they'll replace his on-ice time with gallagher.

I see this as pretty fair value, however, there could be bigger names out there for lucic, but meh, I won't trade black dudes and didn't have any other options to cut cap.

Like it for Phion it's a good offseason to have cheap NHL assets can put together a team in a hurry.
