Confirmed.

Thanks for being reasonable Mike - Nick had me worried on the goalie market.

confirmed.

Pretty good value to Mike, secured goaltending for Ennzie, I think it's a good deal.

As a Canuck fan and avid watcher of Kassian, I like this deal for Ennzie. I think he did extremely well for himself if Bishop is indeed the starter next season.

I think he did good too, although I don't believe Bishop IS the starter, i believe it will be a duo situation. Kuba/JmL is a wash, cap savings for Mike. Sucks to lose an h2h guy like Strachan, however there is some risk he won't be resigned (because he's actually awful), or that his minutes drop. Hamilton & Bolduc give Ennzie bodies with Percy completes the value side of the equation. Kev now owns two guys likely to be comepeting in the near future for 1 job on the leafs blueline (Blacker & Percy). If they earn spots before Gardiner...fml.

I still can't believe the ability to get a tandem costs that much.

Look at the two teams in the finals, the fact that they had complete systems is a huge reason they got there. Especially Bryma. If he didn't have the tandom and only had the starter, he would have been a 1st round exit. My not having Peter Budaj cost me a playoff win in the first year of the playoffs lol. It is worth paying for imo.

to be fair, if ryan miller is traded and the sabres run with a hackett/Enroth duo i wont be giving miller away either.

A starter for a 3rd/4th liner & one-dimensional dman?

Where is the hostage holding?

You're missing the point I was attempting to make.

Kassian clearly more than a 3rd liner - nicely developing first rounder that clearly the team values and wants to succeed. Stratchan sucks to lose, his numbers really are beast.

However Bishop isn't the normal backup, because of the questions around his role (potential starter) moving forward.

Lindback was awful lol. He made Raycroft look like Roy in comparison.
