GM Notes
  • 2013 1st Round pick will be shopped upon the announcement of the final draft order.
  • Not interested in moving the 2014 1st Round pick this summer.
  • I'm most interested in adding NHL centers; would like to trade away some defensemen.
  • The Edmonton goalies aren't available; will acquire a new backup if necessary.
  • Any veteran player not listed below aren't being actively shopped but is available for the right price.
  • Not exclusively seeking NHL youth. Adding productive veterans is acceptable; just don't want players over 32.
  • Adding salary shouldn't be a problem

I can't really tell if DeKeyser is going to be very good in a BBKL sense...he's more of a positional/stick defender than a put his body on the line type of guy. It might just be him getting used to the NHL game but he's spoke of more for his skating ability and his defensive game...he won the CCHA best defensive defenseman 2 years in a row. I'd expect him to play quite a bit going down the stretch because he's been effective.

Came in expecting constructive talk; got snarky response. :?

It'll get more exciting...just jumping in the fray with some other non-playoff teams chiming in with their plans. I'm going to be very draft-centric for the next couple months. I don't have a lot of marketable NHLers and some of them are either free agents or could be bought out and their contract situations may change. I expect to make some moves this summer but it'll come in waves.

He's going to be more periphs than offense. He might be a 15-20 point guy but he'll be rack up the blocks and play a lot on the PK. He doesn't come off as a big hitter...strong on his skates but just not a overall strong guy. He's tall but slight in build. They made fun of that fact on HF already.

yea much appreciated. Also if you could use the level of a shart (ie lost pair of underwear, to don't lie that was a full shit) to rate players it would be helpful. Would make us be able to relate and thus understand your view of a player.
