Hi guys, I wanted to share some early thoughts I have so when you contact me we get off on the right foot. I'll be respecting the trade freeze and looking to my advisor, but he's also encouraged me to lay the ground work where-ever possible.

1. I do not plan on moving the following pieces, unless a truly better deal is put out there:
Henrique, Helm, Hendricks, Clune, Voynov, my 2014 1st,Kassian, Koekkoek, or Meszaros.

2. I have an on-going build plan, I do not need you to tell me what I should be doing. Cliff, Berg, Shook and of course Nick are already doing that. Make no mistake this will be my team.

3. I'm open for goalie talks, Mike knows this, but the core of TBL system is not moving without a core coming back.

4. I won't be selling contributing players for nothing just because they are over 32, scanning the trades I've seen a ton of bad deals based on age. So although Mashley left me a young team, Briere, Rome, Moss & JmL won't be treated as bad pieces.

5. I have some good wingers, that aren't my favourite players - if they are guys you like we can find a deal I think: Voracek, Versteeg, Schroeder, Latta, Santorelli. Plus two good d-man prospects in Blacker & de Haan.

6. I'm told once the finals have started, trades begin again - but I'd like to have a taste for the deals before hand.

7. At the advice of Cliff, go fuck yourself.

I'd ask that you post in the roster submission thread so that your players don't get skimmed in the waiver draft. We likely wouldn't let it happen regardless, but better safe than sorry.

Couple guys I'm interested in, couple you may be interested in. We will talk.

Helping a buddy to learn trade value is more like it. We want him to like the league not get turned off by all the sharks in here lol. *Cough* Hong *cough*. Kidding we have all tried to rape the new guy, that is what nick is trying to avoid.

lol well at least at work my boss tell me to CC him.. sounds like a boss when nick order others to put him in CC too! haha.. Sure the new guy would be good under your safe hand.

I don't think it is a no brainer though. Jakub is PPG and is only 6 months older. Great offer for sure but not an easy yes as both are great players.

A real rebuilder wouldnt deal Voracek for anything less than a 2 for 1.
