Thought I would/could squeeze into the playoffs this yr. Does not look like that is going to happen. I still have no interest in tanking, and I really like alot of the peices I have going forward. That being said I have some extra bodies, and some guys on the farm who are not playing, and could do just as good of a job...Below players are available

Kreider is going to be just fine..Some AHL time will not hurt him.

I am interested, I need a dman, but you seriously need to lower the asking price for a guy with 0 pts in 11 games, and barely contributes periph wise.

I just kidding around, just looking for a free bump.. I know he sucks, but I don't think I actually have a asking price....I made a few offers, but don't believe I actually got any (again not that I was really expecting any) offers. At the same time, nobodys offered this but I am not going to trade a active NHL'er for a prospect who will never play in the NHL.

Meh..If he could play for Detroit, he can play for any team. He is a very good/cheap 7th (bench) Dman for just about any BBKL team...My problem is that he is my 10th..

The thing is.. he's not playing for Detroit on a regular basis. He's a depth injury replacement.

Which is what I'm looking for myself, but not at the cost you are looking for.

Huskins is going to get buried on the Wings depth chart. Heck, Ian White is a healthy scratch now. When Colo is back, they'll have 9 NHL defensemen and they just signed Lashoff to an extension...they're keeping him up with the team. Kronwall, Ericsson, Smith, Quincey, Lashoff and Kindl seem to be their preferred 6...White and Huskins are depth and who knows what they do with Colo.

I'm picturing that they trade White because he sounds pissed about being a healthy scratch. It's not like he's got a future with this team anyway...he's a UFA this summer. That would leave Colo and Huskins as depth or Babs will play either guy occasionally in place of Kindl or maybe Lashoff. White is likely an odd man out. Huskins had his moments when he signed but I think Lashoff has been the pleasant surprise of the season...hence, the 3-year extension.
