I needed to turn Brouwer into a C but could not manage to do so without the C being a downgrade on Brouwer (i.e. I couldn't even get Bolland who I consider a downgrade on Brouwer in terms of H2H value). So I downgraded Neal which let me find the C I wanted (with a solid cap hit) and then I upgraded Brouwer using the pieces I got from the Neal downgrade.
The two deals in summary:
Neal + Brouwer for Heatley + Bozak + Kostka + 1st ANA
Lost some value on the Heatley/Neal swap but Bozak/Brouwer, I am happy with as I consider Bozak an upgrade on Brouwer. Heater has been doing well with Mikko and Parise as well so I'm happy. Also added Kostka for organizational depth + a 1st which always comes in handy.
Cliff and Peter get a nice couple of wins to help me complete the cycle.

individually speaking, shiv loses h2h significantly minus FOW. However his explanation is valid. He completed his own cycle using high end h2h/elite pieces to downgrade slightly to fill all of his positions he wanted to fill. Just have to now sit back and see if Heatley Bozak Kostka contributes more than Neal + Brouwer does at the end of the season

Only thing I hate about players like Brouwer and Ruutu is having to describe to everyone how effective they are h2h.
Yes, Brouwer had 250 hits last year, yes he plays on the penalty kill, yes he blocks shots, and yes he is a 27 year old top 6 powerforward possibly underproducing because of what I consider a flawed system in washington.
I think people are a little more familiar with Ruutu's stats but still, cbs monsters sometimes get overlooked.

Still shitty and lots of injuries but shit, I think I'm going to win the hits category almost every week.
ps: I'm willing to downgrade some of those h2h forwards (foligno, ruutu, brouwer, mitchell) to add youth if I like what you're throwing at me, I feel like I'm distancing myself from being the worst team in the league and I really want the lotto pick.
