Shouldn't say that before checking the stats between the two lol. And I have two very good reasons for this trade

1) I need more money
2) I have too many Hurricanes players

That also said, Brent statistically is and always has been inferior to Reasoner, in which concludes how I control my bottom 6 centerman has little to no significance in trying to get "younger" or gain "value" as my main goal of the deal, wherein I still think Reasoner IS more valuable than Brent will ever be in Brent's prime years and beyond.

Brent's never gonna become a prolific scoring top 6 forward, and with that said, what he's proven year in year out as a bottom 6 center across the score sheet does not indicate he'll be a better player than Reasoner was during Reasoner's prime years (Reasoner used to actually put up 30+ pts per season and massive amounts of FOW for a bottom 6 centerman), nor will be become better than what Reasoner is contributing now once Brent reaches Reasoner's age.

. Its just not smart for paul. Reasoner holds little to no value att all cause of his age and declining play. Paul needs as much value in his players he trades for as possible.

No ones gonna pay u anything for him. And he really isnt gonna make a difference in whether u win or lose. Just dont think it was smart

I do that with players that I know will get value. Trust.

My whole point of my last post was that, Brent IMO has just as little or if not, less than Reasoner even though he's 7 years younger than Reasoner is lol
Again, I reiterate, Brent as a bottom 6 player does LESS in his current prime years than what Reasoner does NOW PAST his prime years... plus I can use more cap hit + get rid of my Canes player. This deal was a no brainer for me. I don't see Brent scoring 32 points when he's 30 yrs of age. It's completely true that I'm giving Reasoner the higher benefit of the doubt.

Even if Reasoner retires after this year I wouldnt care less lol. Brent eventually was going to be pushed out of my roster anyway. But ya, I get the point you're trying to make in that, I possibly wouldn't be able to get anything for Reasoner next year when I could possibly attain at least a 2014 5th round pick for Brent. However I hope I'm not wrong, because I have more than enough confidence that Reason only had a bad season last year, and you can see that he scored 32 pts the year before, so I'm counting on him to at least make a come back and gain enough value to trade him for a pick later on.
