dam nice return. Like previously mentioned, Kyles team should gt most improved gm/team award. shook is really the only/first one to truly take the ballsy step to pay for etem... i think we all kinda know he will be a super player, but just won't pay for him yet

John has looked awful this season, he's been a major sore-spot for Oates. No doubt he should bounce back, but shortened season and soon-to-have value loss, this is Shook watching hockey and predicting the future.

I think this trade will look nice in time.

yup but if we go back in time, the worst woop was our first trade, the one where I landed staal off you.

I wasn't trying to knock you, I was simply saying that its a trade for some futures. hard to say that it would only make sense if I landed a top 5 pick as well. Etem alone could become what Carlson is worth. my only point

to be fair, shook is certainly not the first one to pay for Etem...

and it looks like he changed his opinion on this type of deals and/or on Etem since last Summer.

Etem is going to be good. Real good I think. Not just scoring wise. Think he's gonna be a good gold scorer who puts up good peripherals. Demers is being slept on here too.
