Arnott tbh to me sounds and seems to be in way better shape than anyone thinks. He's a healthy individual at 6'5" and he's never slowed down. 1.6 million dollars in contract money is quite a bit for a 38 yr old and I'm looking forward to seeing what he has to offer.

I'm sorry I must ask - Where the hell does Arnott fit in at this point?... he no longer has a contract with them so now is he once again waiver exempt due to contract status as being UFA? Is he subject to waiver? This is fucking gay if I can't send him down without clearing waiver.

Why? Do you think I was trying to justify/defend my trade? I was actually referring to an article over the summer where his brother, his agent, was giving an interview on him saying that he was in great shape. I believed the statement as well because he was always an impactful player whatever role he served. Checking line centre in STL still managed a 34 pt + nice periphs last year and I had no doubt that unless he had something going we didn't know about (now we "know"), he was gonna have a good shortened season.

I'm mad about this whole ordeal, so I'm gonna bitch at you - Stop being a smartass by trying to label me as some sorta insecure bullshitter.

P.S. I still have nobody but myself to blame for this, as CBS note was probably posted hours before I made this deal, but I just thought it was a previous note regarding his signing with the club from one or two nights ago so I never even checked again.
