Literally made this trade because Calgary usually plays really well down the stretch and Kipper was money last year. Nice value win for Billy - meh, I don't mind.

If he can get his hands on Gibson...I'll like the deal even more. Calgary is a team that needs to start over if this is it for Kipper and if they don't keep Iginla...not a team to buy stock in.

Kipper will not play next season for 1.5M, and even if he does I don't want a 37 year old goalie on my team.

I think Kipper/Iggy's future entirely depends on a playoff run this year. if CGY makes it they both stay, if they don't, well they don't
