I'm higher on Stempniak than most. Then again all you Leaf fans hate on him for his time with the buds!
But you really cant argue with the fact the guy puts up 35-40pts, ~100 hits, ~150 shtoi, ~175 sog. Not bad for a 3rd line player in h2h if you ask me.
As for Greening I seriously doubt he's going to be getting playing time with Spezza and Michalek like last year. His totals
should take a nose dive.

Stempniak and Greening are fairly similar, Greening should see a bit of a drop in terms of offense, but his periphs should beat Stempniak's, and the difference in offense isn't huge, and the picks aren't worth much really either way. Not a bad trade for either party.

Rookie greening tossed up better numbers and looked better - although a sophomore dip is to be expected, projecting him long term as the same is silly to me.
