Well Anton and i both broke it down. The pros and cons were give and take. With his plan Thomas holds amazing value. Being able to legitimately dress a 5 mil cap hit player on a team looking to do a fast rebuild is an asset in this league. I had a lot of interest in Thomas for that very reason.

only player more valuable to me than thomas in this case would've been gomez

He won't play this year. He is a man of his word. See White-house stunt, the one he had been telling his teammates about all season long and not one believed he would actually do it.

i fail to see how a deal that's essentially robidas for gonchar, with a bunch of odd gp and salary pieces added can be "straight murder" for anyone.

I dont think anyone actually looked at the numbers.

seems like a solid deal to me, no damage done to any body parts.
