Some GM's are very self-conscience and don't want to get a thread full of "raped" "omg huge win for ___" etc.

For me, only time I ask an opinion is because I fall in love with the thought of acquiring a certain player and get blinded by that, so I pay wayyyy too much.

Or.. because I don't want to rape a noobie

I agree with the part that I bolded. Also, I used to ask for opinions on trades when I first got here but I eventually stopped. It's my team after all, I don't need others building it for me.

I agree, I fucking hate when that happens...

I always ask at least two opinions, been burned many times by trading for stats and hoping to move a player later only to hear I should trade for "league value" and not for stats. Best way of determining league value? Getting the opinion of GMs who covet the player I'm landing.

See, for me, I don't trade for value around the league. I trade to improve my team.
