Paul you get too obsessed with "nhl players" at times I think. It's like you've been brainwashed by some of the posters in here over the last year who constantly talk down about prospects and how they aren't truly valuable and any NHL player is way better to own..

Dalpes upside is head and shoulders above Brent. Brent is the type of guy you should be able to get for like a 2nd round pick or something. Not to mention this is the year Dalpe should actually crack that lineup.

Dalpe has struggled in the NHL level to even stay on consistently even after being selected as top 10 sleeper picks for THE NHL FANTASY HOCKEY last year... well it's safe to say that his age (only 5 yrs younger) out of a 2008 draft class still unable to make the team isn't much of a factor for u guys.

Tbh for a team like Carolina this is a devastating trade. All mockery of FDS aside, Steve is better than this.
