It was just a matter of waiting until I was getting the value I believed he was eventually going to have. Mike and I have had conversations on and off regarding him the last 2 years, we were just finally on the same page

Bernier being moved = Jackpot. You'd gain ridiculous value and still keep an H2H stud in Ott.

Yeah Bernier being traded in real life is best outcome for Mike. I like it for the rangers just because I'm a hall fan, but we'll see how it sorts out.

Of course Kyle would finally trade Bernier to Mike when he's probably not going to be with the Kings for much longer.

losing otts faceoffs, shtoi, hits and pims will hurt for sure. But its not that big a loss since I've replaced a good amount of them already by adding konopka and burish.

Hall's a beast and young, very young. Those types of players don't come cheap.
