LOL agreed. I shook my head when I saw this trade. Definitely an ass pounding in Mik's favour. I'd be surprised if Nicklas Backstrom was a starter much longer.

Much longer means in the near future.. not just next year. Backstrom's getting up there and seems to be wearing down. I've never been a big Nicklas Backstrom fan though so I probably sell him short.

so, should i edit the thread starter despite the fact it would look modified after the deadline?

Search purposes are important. I'm sure all would agree and we all know this deal was done prior to the deadline.

then yours it's a legit point, albeit i think if not for more hips' serious problems Backstrom will remain a starter for a couple of seasons at least.

As for his quality, we simply disagree.. i've always liked him and i think he is the main reason the Wild have managed to stay respectable this and past seasons.
