To clarify, the 5th that was supposed to go to me was essentially cashed in this deal. This is the complete deal.

I wanted to a winger prospect that is at least the AHL level and Szwarz signed his ELC with Phoenix. Cliche is on the verge of busting but he's at least an extra guy.

i guess you should link this one in that other deal (in the thread starter) specifying this one takes care of its condition.

but to be clear, a condition like the one used in this thread is not allowed. Shoalzie you have CC access and have voiced your opinion on the matter...leading by example

The bottom line is the deal is complete. Frank had acquired a 5th in another deal and we talked about wrapping up the deal with that pick but then I expressed interest in his prospects that he was offering and the deal turned into this. It evolved into this trade. I wouldn't do this again just because I feel better about trading something and getting something back right then and there. I realize what I said with the CC about conditional trades and then I did this trade. What I didn't want is this situation to turn into an ongoing issue where it was left open for several months. Frank and I have agreed to completed terms of a trade and we move on.
