I assume you think Linus Omark is going to be a stud? I'm not sure why else you would make this deal.

I gotta give the nod to nashville on this one...

Its a good deal for NSH for sure, but I think you guys are failing realizing how SICK Mikko Koviu is at H2H

I'd agree he does more to make his team win... guy is a beast. Not as offensively dominant, but where one guy is insanely over-rated, the other is the most under-rated.

100%

In real life give me a healthy Malkin all day long.. in this league, Koivu holds as much or more value then Geno when you factor everything in. Again, IMO.

In real life it would be a very tough call IMO.

Ultimately given a blank slate, I believe I'd choose Malkin, as he's just a rarer player. However on many NHL teams, I believe Koivu would make them closer to a contender then Malkin would. BBKL it depends on the rest of the team. Malkin would make me more dangerous then Koivu would.

Shiv is a fucking stud for making this deal, that is all...

Note: Shiv was telling me how much I over-rate Koivu not 5 days ago.

BBKL it's a great deal.

In real life you're crazy to take Koivu over Malkin IMO. Malkin is a complete stud and has a Conn Smythe.

LOL

Ya, Shiv talks out of his ass a lot. He seems to like some players that extra little bit when someone is talking about them.

LOL...No it's not. Let's not be silly Nick, it's an easy call in real life, Malkin all day, everday. Your second point really holds no weight either...You believe Koivu could make a contender closer, but Malkin has actually taken a team to the Cup Finals, and won it as Pittsburgh's MVP.

In the context of H2H I would rather Koivu however, both for his peripheral dominance, and lesser cap hit.

We all do it, every single one of us. Not only last week, I was degrading Brian Boyle's h2h value, only to talk to you and realize I was completely out to lunch, and I can't even begin to count the number of times I have had convos with Nick about a player, only to focus on him more, and subsequently become a fan (Benn, MacDonald, Shore etc.).

Nick buddy, why do you lie? You said you'd take Koivu over Henrik Sedin to build a championship team today. I said you're crazy.

Also, anyone with Gaborik and Malkin on their team at the same time will NEVER ever win the BBKL championship.

Depends...Henrik Sedin without Daniel? If the answer is yes, I too would prefer Koivu. With Daniel it's an easy nod for Henrik, IMO.
