* No special exception call-ups were used, no players need to be moved when healthy player returns.*

I'm actually completely lost in regards to this LTIR setup, do I not have the option of simply putting a player on LTIR, and using his cap space until he returns (as in the call-up exception is when the replacement's cap must be lesser then or equal to the injured players cap). In short I shouldn't have to name a replacement player to use the cap, assuming I don't want to make a call-up. This is of course not the case, if we are incorporating the entire part of the NHL CBA practice, wherein the team actually gets to exceed the salary cap (meaning when the injured player comes back, and no special-case call-up was made) essentially by the replacement players salary.

I'm not really sure what your asking here...

--> we're going to need some lee-way here until this is all clear. I know i helped write the rules and am now confused about what is now the rule. But to be clear, I'm under the cap no matter how you add thats shit up.

this is more just to keep track of who is on LTIR and for people like Lee who had to carefully pick who he put where to make sure he reached the floor...CBS does not keep track of LTIR cap so by writing it here it helps me so I know who is on LTIR and whose contract to add to cap to make sure every player is compliant to the cap.

KK that is fine thanks Chris! ... and you do not NEED to name a replacement if you do not wish to do so, providing you have the cap space.

Chris Drury placed on LTIR by NSH - 7.05M - who knows for how long (min 3 weeks)
http://www.yardbarker.com/nhl/articles/ ... es/3424119

Replacement Player - Linus Omark (W exempt anyway)

*edit

i thought the salary of the LTIR players would count against the cap only with reference to the cap floor.
Considering my subs options were waiver exempts, i didn't even think i had to post about Omark being in for Drury (i did nonetheless, just to be sure), nor about another player once i reassigned Omark to the farm soon after.
after this post I asked for confirmation to a CC member that my lineup team page was just fine. After receiving confirmation i thought everything was good the way i did it in the previous weeks.
However, reading Nick's recent post i realized it wasn't.

So here i update the Replacement Player (even if he is waiver exempt again): Nick Bonino (0.875)

and updated accordingly the payroll figure in the weekly lineup.
Hopefully the total is right now; still not sure though.
