Anyone else having issue with the way the BBKL page forum looks today? Know how to fix it?

Really messed up for me.

I think Mike (Morris) was on briefly and updated the version of PHP for the forum.

Yes, this is different but it does load better on the phone. It'll take getting used...I didn't now it was happening.

It's unusable for me on my phone


It says Mike Morris hasn't been active since May 2021

Desktop version is slightly better

But both versions have lost the latest posts list

If this primitive looking version that's lost a lot of the ease of us is how it stays my activity will drop from like 95% to 25%

Definitely not used to this. Latest posts list is key though… definitely not going to go searching through all the threads.

Under quick links there’s an active post thread that shows all the latest post

Recent posts Re under the quick menu on the left. It caught me off guard, but it's definetly much nicer than before.

Full disclosure...I was getting ready to post a question to the CC about the schedule and then I got a strange message about the forum being down. There was another message referencing a temporary link to the forum which didn't bring anything up.

I logged onto the admin control panel and saw an anonymous account signed in and they appeared to be in the process updating the version of PHP for the forums.

I assumed it was Mike and I sent him an e-mail. The forum and the domain (I assume?) is still in his name. All I have access to is the admin control panel where I can authorize new users and can edit the forums, etc.

I'm not as well versed on the software that hosts the forum...I believes he has been the one who has made the updates to the forums in the past.

I'll investigate some of the styling issues. Seeing "COLON" written out instead of a : being shown. "BUTTON_POST_REPLY" is another odd one.

Overall, I don't mind the change. It looks better on a mobile device. You don't have to pinch and zoom to read messages. I primarily use Chrome on my phone.

can i take this opportunity to ask for latest posts show up to 10 posts so i can check some lame trades that were made if i haven't come on for couple days?
also would love to have "like" buttons to the posts.. haha

At the top, press "QUICK_LINKS" and then press "View new posts".

I did also like the new recent stuff at the top. I'll see if that can feature can come back.
