i woudln't be a bit surprised to see that Dal 2nd move up into the first round tbh....will be interesting to see where it lands in next years draft. I suspect in the 17-23 range.
Very smart buy on mikes part.

just as likely pete misses games played and that 2nd drops to 61st pick. Could be a very smart trade for Scott.

Depending on standings and the lottery. Are you new to hockey?

i was going to say, it's a pretty easy concept...there are a few ways that pick improves. If Dal wins the lottery and meet(s) requreiments such as games played that pick can slide into the first round.
Now if Pete misses games played it could very well drop to 61st...very risky trade, one mike can afford.

yes, but if Dal wins the lottery and some other team is punished for missing gmaes played that pick can slide up into the first round. Lets say 5 teams miss games played and Dal wins the lottery, that 2nd (we'll say 31st overall) now becomes 26th overall.
and so on...

Yes Steve is correct
I have a gut feeling it could end up being as high as mcdavid is slotted though
