2014 1st Rounder (PIT)

To Pittsburgh

David Krejci

I swear Shook has literally built his team on 4-5 trades on which he has raped me.

confirmed.

Dats, Crawford, Klein and Eakin are the only players on my team I landed from you. Eakin I paid Michalek straight for which was overpayment at the time. The Dats trade was dumb by you and I still think the Crawford trade, especially considering he has been injured since, was even at worst lol.

Nice to land gordon. Meh for dupuis.

No offense shiv. You make dupuis out to be some stud. He is a terrible hockey player.

Nope. Nino for Raymond which you turned into Perron. Beauch + Okposo for Dats + Raymond + Gilbert. Crawford deal you will win in the long run. And this one is a home run.

I wouldn't call it a home run. Pascal Dupuis is 35 years old and just tore his ACL and MCL. Its going to be a tough road back for him and no one knows if he'll even come close to returning to what he is now. He was a depreciating asset before and now he's a rapidly depreciating asset.

Other than that, it's 2 late 1sts...and Boyd Gordon type production is good for a contender if they play him on the 4th line..but then he's a super expensive 4th line player.

This is sort of how I felt. Although I think Dupuis will come back to be a 40 point player for PIT with nice periphs. He is just too smart of a player to fall off the face of the planet completely. I actually plan on keeping Dupuis rather then trying to trade him.

In real life he is not as good as he is in BBKL. Especially when he gets time on Crosby's line. The guy literally hits 6-7 categories well, which is very hard to find.

Part of my love for it though was the fact that I could make Dupuis + the Kunitz/Dupuis lovefest banners all the time lol. It'll just have to be Kunitz now.

Originally heard about is a a 2:1 and thought it was a big win for shiv, this form is okay for all. Would rather krecji myself.d

See, I'd rather the return that Shook landed!

funny how we each find value in different types of returns!

it's a fair deal, but from a trade perspective I could do more with shooks return than just krejci alone!

Agreed.

But I couldn't pass up landing Boston's #1/#2 C in every situation for this. Probably won't get this chance with Dupuis/Gordon again. Krejci at 27 and 5.25M till 2015 is pretty damn valuable across many categories.

Oh I agree, solid return for you as well.

This is very much an nhl deal, this is the type of value he has.

As former owner of Krejci and Bruins fan, He is not that great in BBKL. Hes a good young player on top line but he is very streaky. He is a playoff beast though. It was tough trading him away and i wish i still had him for what i got in return but overall this is a good trade stats wise. Shiv paid but Shook got some good value here.

I hate to admit this as a leafs fan but I made this trade because I believe Krejci has an 85-90 point season in him if he stays healthy esp with how young he is. Hopefully, I'm right.

he needs a trade to even have a chance of scoring at that rate…
