Eberle is nice & should be warming up along with the rest of the Oilers. With that said I'd prefer to be landing Duchene.

anton has always been one around the league to overpay for a piece he's after. Whether it be a small time chase in brunner for polak, or eberle++ for duchene. Bennette isn't an easy piece to give up. Eberle for Duchene straight up would've been suffice let alone a 1st round pick in 2014. Anton gets raped here.

If by skewed ass player valuations you mean I value Duchene as a top top C to own going forward on the same tier as a guy like Tavares for years to come, then yes. I think Anton crushed this deal.

i am genuinely surprised by the responses so far. i gave up a lot. way more than anyone else was offering.

Anton does well here. Beau bennet is a nice young piece but seems a tad injur prone at a young age, which is potentially a concern. The san jose shark pick is a late first. Those things get thrown around like candy.

Steve doesn't get killed or anything like thst either. Just always nice to land premier centres.

I see this as a fair deal, and you guys have been saying I've been getting raped for a year, so much so you'd think I'd have more of a losing record.
