I've been jocking his periphs...not bad for an AHL journey man. I grabbed him as a free agent two years so I'm happy to turn a profit on him. His numbers weren't as impressive last week but he should be able to get you around 2 blocks, 2 hits and 2:00 SHTOI a game.

Again, I could've waited for Murray to come back but he's skating so maybe he's back next week or the week after. If I have anything, it's quite a few defensemen.

if there was no pressing need to trade him then why not make a block and advertise him as for sale and create some competition? half the league is looking for everyday defensemen right now. quietly trading him for a 2nd when no one else knew he was available just seems unnecessary given your situation.

ye - Scott had him on the block for a while... I think he did well from a FA claim to a 2nd - nice profit, not trying to sell at absolute high and risk a send down or something...

The funny thing is, last night guenin was COL's best dman lol. Garnered praise from all the announcers on his play especially pierre. I don't expect that trend to continue but with the new coaching system I have some hope that he stays a regular all year.

your boy was better h2h but not in the game. guenin stopped malkin and sid on 1 on 1's multiple times each. that's insane for a guy who was in the ahl last season.

tip: no one is rummaging through several pages of a trade block thread to seek out who's available.

make a thread. call it "nate guenin available" - emphasize his h2h ability and maximize his value. i guarantee you could've done better than a mid 2nd rounder for an everyday h2h dman with just a little bit of effort.
