Not sure what I think of this, OEL is elite, but maybe not an elite bbkler.
Klefbom is the big question mark.

I like it for Nick myself...especially with what was given up to land OEL before, was a lottery pick no?

I'm going to need to see Myers bounce back a fair bit and Klefbom be a really dependable NHLer to like it for Shoalzie, OEL's on his way to being a top 5 dman in the league though, so I like this for Nick for now.

I like it from scotts perspective and his teams position.

Nick wins this deal right now...Myers is a bit lost as a player and we'll see Klefbom when he finally makes the show. I may regret not waiting a little longer or actually shopping him around but Nick was very aggressive and I'm happy we can reach a deal. One could say the safest move for me was to do nothing...we'll see.

I had some trouble with this, when Scott came back wanting Klefbom in the deal...

Myers + Klefbom for OEL, right now. is a fair deal, IMO. however I believe Klefbom will be called up this year, immediate value increase, and Myers will find his game sometime this year - which will be a big value bump because his h2h # (aside from shtoi) are better than OEL's...

I don't expect there is much upward room for OEL's value, unless his scoring pace is 50pts+...


However... right now it's fair and I have some tough weeks 3-4-5-6 and didn't want to be waiting for good play. I would not have done this trade to a competing team, as it's very short sighted.

I think Nick wins too.. OEL is elite and esp the price that scott paid for OEL.. besides.. Myers is a big question mark with the youngsters in buff (e.g. pysyk, zadarov, risto, mcnabb who all have good potentials)....
