He is going to be a player, 30 goal scorer in the NCAA and from what I've read Stars fans loved him last season.

Honestly, i dont know. I just know i hate tyling on phone and moreso when i cant see what im typing and having a loaded gun in other hand.i know i got hosed but with roster lock tonight and cap..had to get it done so i dont have to worry anynore.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least. WTF is a guy supposed to do though? It was to the point that i would be waiving him. I have no depth and a 7 mil dollar goalie. Dude got an amazing deal. And Paul, how is it a joke? Your offer of Dalpe and a 2nd is that much better than Smith, who i know has a roster spot and is waiver exempt? The league is fucked this year due to the cap. The values are insane. If i was still rebuilding or had cap space i would be raping all the big boys who are in the corner too. I feel some have missed the boat.

Yea, i had many responses saying they "didn't want to be too good and ruin there pick value". That blows me away. When you are young and moving up, you take advantage of grabbing top talent. The whole goal is steady improvement, is it not? Not everyone can tank and then in 1 year make a playoff contending team.

If not for me having to literally clear all of his salary to make it work, I'd have paid up 100000%.

I know Shep, many teams in the same boat. This year is an oddity because i assume the cap will increase big time next year.
