What is the punishment of going over the 60 player max in the off-season?

off season doesnt matter, rosters don't have to meet requirements until the beginning of the season i believe.

Steve told me such rule is not in charge during the off-season, and that was my initial assumption as well, considering i don't think NHL teams face such rescrictions during the off-season, nor our cap is in charge during the off-season, either.

However, i'm realizing some other people seem not to be on the same page as Steve..

yea, we don't impose limits on off-season in the name of increase # of moves... however if a GM is losing control there will be an intervention

So after the draft, if I have 70 players, I just need to remove 10 before the season starts?

Damnit I should have asked this 2 weeks ago before I made some of those trades that were strictly to liquidate my assets. Oh well.

honestly most of the GM's anywhere near the limit have 5+ prospects that are so far away and such a dream that they could be dropped w/o much thought.

Yeah I've got 3 guys I drafted last year that went undrafted in the NHL. So if they don't get drafted again this year, I'll be dropping those guys.

Could you give your opinions to me on my team that you feel fit this criteria. I have my own, but i respect your opinion when it comes to prospects and would appreciate an outsiders look. I know we may disagree on player values but i can't disagree on something i have no knowledge of.
